A stunning postcard of The Angel of the North, in North East England. Designed by Antony Gormley, the Angel of the North is a contemporary sculpture, located on a hillside above Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, England. Completed in 1998, it is a steel sculpture of an angel, 20 meters tall, with wings measuring 54 meters across. Easily accessible on foot it draws tourists on their journeys via the A1.
