About This Design
Angelina and Sarah Grimke Sisters ERA Suffrage Magnet
The Grinke sisters were some of the first women to really start the fight for equal rights. They were born into a wealthy plantation family in South Carolina. Even as children, they knew that slavery was wrong and secretly taught slaves to read (which was against the law!) After they moved to Philadelphia, they became involved in the abolitionist movement. However, they were women and weren't allowed to speak in public forums so the sisters started fighting for equal rights for all. This wasn't even about getting the vote or owning your own property, this is just about having the right to be heard! They didn't just fight for women's rights---they fought for EVERYONE's rights. We owe them a lot.

I was expecting better. Image looks faded and the houses on the image are near folded underneath. Likely throw this in the bin.

My partner proposed on our first holiday and we ate tonnes of garlic bread. This was a perfect reminder. The magnet is strong and the quality and value for money excellent. Exactly as pictured. Superb.

Excellent all round, the printing is great and the magnet is streamlined, not chunky. The actual magnet is very strong. Very good quality and the price is low. Absolutely fantastic! Crisp, bright, clean.
