Angers Cathedral organ Holiday Card
Angers Cathedral was built in the 12th and 13th centuries, and the present organ, dating from the 1740s, is by Jean Dangeville. Aristide Cavaille-Coll completely revised the organ, completing it in 1874. The full list of organ builders who have at times altered this organ are Jousseline, Girardet, Ingoult, Dangeville, Cavaillé-Coll, Debierre, Beuchet-Debierre, Sévère. The card front has the words "Merry Christmas" . On the inside is "With warm greetings and best wishes for the coming year"

I won't buy any more ordinary cards from shops - have been so pleased with the Zazzle ones. Even though this is my picture, I was astounded as to how well it turned out. Everything worked - the weight, the feel of the glossy paper - even the smell was nice! Perfect. Utterly perfect. You could almost imagine you were looking at the real thing. The inside greeting came out the right size too - not too big, not too small. The wood and pipe colours - always difficult to reproduce - came out just as I wanted them too. Excellent and thrilled.
