More surgeries followed, and Brave Boyle fought aggressively. She would learn to walk seven times over the course of her recovery, initially crumbling after five steps but eventually walking the halls of CHOC’s oncology unit. The road back to normality was an arduous one, but Ella is happy and healthy today.
