Antique Repro Faux Relief Teal Framed Sunflower Tile

Our original antique tile is a molded relief design by Malkin Tiles that dates to 1905. This reproduction tile, however, is printed in a trompe l'oeil ("fool the eye") style that only looks dimensional. The actual tile is smooth and flat. The style is late Eastlake/Aesthetic and it works with a variety of decorating styles from Craftsman and Country to French, Tuscan, and Victorian.

Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
