Now available! Double sided printed ties! Twice as nice! Vintage illustration antique world map featuring the Americas, 1570 by Abraham Ortelius. Abraham Ortelius (1527-1598) was a Flemish cartographer and geographer, generally recognized as the creator of the first modern atlas, the Theatrum Orbis Terrarum (Theatre of the World). He is also believed to be the first person to imagine that the continents were joined together before drifting to their present positions. This chart show continents, North, South and Central America, with the Pacific and Atlantic oceans and Antarctica. A beautiful ornate inset with the title Americae Sive Novi Orbis No Va Sescriptio is in the corner. Large ships with sails are navigating and traveling the seas.

I wasn't sure what to expect but was excited to have a tie for my husband which matched my wedding attire. A super easy process taking a photo of my dress and uploading it to the website. I waited in anticipation not knowing how it would turn out. I couldn't believe the quality, its excellent. The print, pattern and colour is strong and vibrant. I have uploaded a photo but its difficult to see the tie against the dress because the quality is exceptional. I would have no hesitation using this company again.
