Art Deco,Casino, Paris, Louis Gaudin, Vintage Louis Gaudin was a French poster artist and costume designer. Louis Gaudin signed his works with the pseudonym "Zig". In many of his works he followed the style of Art Deco . He began his career in the United States , where he designed stage costumes for the Broadway musicals in the 1920s. From 1926 to 1932, Louis Gaudin created many posters for performances by Josephine Baker , Mistinguett , Maurice Chevalier , Sacha Guitry and other artists of the Paris Revue Theatre . He continued to design theatrical costumes and also dresses for the Parisian fashion houses . This work is in the public domain in its country of origin and other countries and areas where the copyright term is the author's life plus 70 years or less. [PD-US]
