Art Nouveau Reading Cushion
This art nouveau old book cover was adapted from a 1902 edition of the 1851 dramatic poem The Golden Legend by the hugely popular American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882). It features green and gold lush decorative floral and leaf designs. The Golden Legend is a dramatic poem illustrating the Middle Ages from the period of 1230 with a theme of conflict between good and evil. It was part of a Trilogy and was later made into a musical cantata by Arthur Sullivan which had a command performance for Queen Victoria in 1888 at the Royal Albert Hall. After the performance, she praised Sullivan in person for this talent.

Would be better if you could select several photos at once from your own saved photos to save them on to the website rather than one at a time.
Great quality in fact ordered 2 more of a different photo layout design for Christmas presents. Photos and photos of drawings my young nieces did on this cushion turned out perfect or I should say ‘purrrrrfect’ as they were all photos of their cats

Well made, exceeded expectations in that respect. Printed on a polyester base, which I thought might not look as good as cotton, but it doesn’t have a synthetic feel about it at all. Came out better than expected, exactly as the image I’d selected, which was a stock image, not one I’d uploaded myself. Very satisfied with colours, brightness, clarity.
