This image is from the famous vintage art nouveau poster "Salon des Cent," made by Eugène Grasset for the art exhibition of the same name, held in Paris in 1898. (Historical Note: The Salon des Cent was limited to 100 hand picked artists, selected to show in monthly art exhibitions held in Paris between the years 1894 - 1900. ) This poster was part of the "The "Maitres de l’Affiche" (Masters of the Poster) collection, which consists of 256 lithographic plates used for the famous collection of poster art which was published and distributed between 1895 and 1900.
