A giant green artichoke floats over a choppy blue ocean. Arti's artichoke label was based on authentic California advertising labels and my love of gourmet steamed chokes with butter, herbs and mayo. Castroville, California is the Artichoke Capital of the world, the other two cities listed; Los Encinos and Santa Brigita are fictional.
