Asano Takanoha Crossbody Bag
[Asanotakanoha] This name was derived from 'Monten.' In "Teimon no Kenkyu" (Study of Jomon) written by Manjiro FUKUI, this is referred to as 'Aki Asano family, Chigai Takaha' and Takanoha, different from Asanomaru, is referred to as the honmon of the Asano family with 420,000 koku crop yield of Agihiro Island, a daimyo (Japanese feudal lord) (P101). The Asano family of Chushingura was a branch family of the Asano family. The crest of the Asano family also had a kaemon (alternate pattern) of omodaka arranged on a half-opened fan called 'Asano Ogi' and was used together with 'Maru ni Mitsuhiki' (three-folded fan). (Written by Kenichi TAKAHASHI, "Family crest of daimyo family")/Its name is, however, in "Monno-izumi" and "Monno-shibori" it is simply referred to as 'Asano Taka.'

I'm loving this cross body bag is fabulous! It feels very sturdy and well made, it has pockets inside to keep your keys, phone and lipsticks separate and so things don't get lost in the bottom of the bag. I love the adjustable strap, so you can wear it long cross body, or shorten it and wear as a handbag. A great size, and the handles are strong with good stitching. I've had many compliments about the bag, I love it! The print is outstandingly good! I ordered the bag to see how the print stacks up against my original painting and I have to say, the print wowed me! It has captured my painting well and the colours are beautiful, very true to my painting. Some pics of my original painting and the bag next to it, fabulous print job!
