Ashura (also known as Asura, a transcription of Skt:asura, free translation: Hiten) is a guardian deity of Buddhism belonging to Hachibushu (Eight Attendants). It is also called Shura. During the Mahayana Buddhism period, it was added between the five Shushi people and the Chikusu people due to its combative nature, and became the master of Ashura-do (Shura-do), one of the Rokudo (six realms). Ashura-zo - Buddha Statues Senju Kannon (Thousand Armed Avalokiteshvara), Sanskrit name Sahasabrajah Alia Avalokiteshvara (sahasrabhuja ārya avalokitezvara) is a Bosatsu (Bodhisattva) worshipped in Buddhism. "Saha Slabja" literally means "thousand hands." This name is also a synonym for gods such as Vishnu, Shiva, and Durga in Hinduism, and is considered to be a variant of Kannon Bosatsu, which was established in India under the influence of Hinduism. It is also one of the Roku Kannon . Sanmayagyo is a lotus flower (lotus flower in full bloom). It is paired with Showari Renge of Sho Kannon (Holy Kannon)) and Renge Johoju (Lotus Sutra). These mugs are simply the best. They printed to a very high quality. The size of mug is large and they hold a lot of drink in them. They're priced exceptionally well. I cannot praise these mugs more!
