This round, ceramic ornament features an image of the beautiful, desolate beach on Assateague Island in Maryland. Assateague is Maryland's only oceanfront Park and part of America's National Park System. This is part of a barrier island on the coasts of Maryland and Virginia (where it becomes Chincoteague). The back of the ornament does not have the image but has information about Assateague.
