At Aphrodite's Cradle (1908) by Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema is a vintage Victorian Era fine art portrait painting. Beautiful women leaning on a marble wall on a balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. One lady has a floral wreath on her head made from rose flowers. Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love and beauty. Venus is the Roman goddess of love and lust.
About the artist:
Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema (1836-1912) was a classical subject painter, his genre was Academicism, Neoclassicism and Romanticism. He became famous for the luxury and decadence of the Roman Empire, with languorous figures set in fabulous marbled interiors or against a backdrop of dazzling blue Mediterranean sea and sky.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
