Australian Kookaburra Magnet
The kookaburra is a famous Australian bird from the kingfisher family, and well known for it's laugh. It really does laugh, and sounds almost like a monkey more than a bird. It lives in the old gumtree, as the song goes, and is the merry king of the bush. I took this photo of the unique bird in the Grampians, a mountain range in Victoria Australia as he had just caught something in his beak for dinner (a very large bug, maybe?)
