Yes, that nature’s curmudgeon aka the tawny frogmouth. I was first introduced to these lovable grumps through an animal rescue show. As I watched this little grumpy gus’s rehab, I was reminded of a character in one of my recent reads.
Growing up in a small town, every neighborhood has a curmudgeon. The old man that sits and watches the Christmas lights going up too early or the grass not being cut in a perfect line. But, underneath all those layers of gripe is a heart of gold that would give you the shirt off their back. So giving air hugs to all those neighborhood curmudgeons because an actual hug would cause an avalanche of grumbling and being shooed away.
Hand painted in 30 hours with a toothpick.

Sir,A great product of quality,which really was, jolly good as a Christmas present for my brother in-law ,who is a mushroom expert here in England.
The design,size and convenience of such a present ,was exactly what I was looking for.
He was at first "puzzled"as to the what the Christmas present could be,but was delighted by the contents.He was certainly very happy and made from a fun present.

Nice compact box, however, the picture of the jigsaw on the box is literally no more than 4 x 3 inches and as this is supposed to be a gift for someone to make the jigsaw based on the picture - I'm not sure how they are supposed to do that with such a small picture?! Can I suggest the box contains a larger picture of the jigsaw for those less able to see the extremely small details on the box sticker.

I bought this jigsaw in 252 pieces because I originally bought it in 110 pieces. I found it a bit of a leap in terms of time commitment as this one took me approx 5 hours. It was definitely challenging and was on my boundary of tolerance. This is because I like to complete a puzzle in just a few hours. I find thousands of pieces tedious and having to store them leads to lostvpieces. I can never commit Diego busy lifestyle and not knowing when I will find the time and or motivation to go back to a puzzle.
The puzzle comes in a really durable gift box that will keep puzzle secure for a long time. It also fits neatly on to a small bookcase for storage. The image was centrally fixed with no border lines,it was also very good quality image.
