The design for this item is based on the national flag of the Republic of Austria, a landlocked East Alpine country in the southern part of Central Europe. The Austrian flag with its three distinctive bands of red and white is based on the coat of arms of the Babenberg dynasty. According to legend, the flag was invented by Duke Leopold V of Austria as a result of his fighting in the Siege of Acre. After a ferocious battle, his white overcoat was completely covered in blood. When he removed his belt, the cloth beneath remained unstained, revealing the combination of red-white-red. He was so impressed by this powerful sight that he adopted the colors and scheme as his banner. The capital and largest city of Austria is Vienna. Other major cities or towns in Austria include Graz, Linz, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Villach, Wels, Sankt Pölten, Dornbirn, Wiener Neustadt, Steyr, Feldkirch, Bregenz, Leonding, Klosterneuburg, Baden, Wolfsberg, Leoben and Krems.

I can't upload my photo for some reason, but I'm really chuffed with this badge. I ordered the square version as I thought that would stand out better than the normal round badge. But i hadn't nnoticed the size details - it really is 2 inches square, so it definitely will stand out!
I ordered it late on 26th and it arrived today, the 29th, so I'm really happy with that too.

I am very happy with this product! The printing came out perfects, the size of the button is not too big and not too small, and the shiny gloss added makes it stand out from the crowd!
