This lemon is from the tree in the backyard of my Aunt Helen and Uncle Ken Kurakazu in Walnut Creek, CA. There is nothing like this tangy, sweet fruit to enhance a soup or simply for juicing. The original photograph was rendered into a digital “block” painting – a modern, minimalist study that celebrates the beauty and nature of this lovely homegrown fruit.
