Baker - Specimen - Zingiber Homo erectus Doormat

An unusual species, known as Zingiber Homo erectus, also known as a Gingerbread man. A sentient species, often found in tribes or small gatherings. There seems to be more males then females, reproduction is unknown. Their appearance: Often a tan to brown colour, simple decorations, some may be tattooed. They don't seem to wear too much otherwise. Their bodies are flat, with no distinguishing identity of which gender they are. They have a scent and a flavour that can best be described as a sort of ginger flavour. Because of that, this species is often hunted during colder months, when people are seeking food that tastes warm. Because they are usually the prey, they have learned to travel in groups, hoping to camouflage into their backgrounds better. Never seen defending themselves, nor do they have weapons, they are believed to be simple minded, with a low IQ, and just basic survival skills. Due to these qualities, this species was nearly hunted to extinction. Using the advancements of science, biologists were able to study them, and create clones, so we can all enjoy them today. We learned a few interesting facts: They don't seem to feel pain, or at least they made no audible noises that indicated they did. They did seem excited at times, when mounted. Only a few were able to escape from their housing. They don't seem to die. Scientists are interested because of this, so they will probably be studied for a long time.
