Bald Eagle Liberty Bell T-Shirt
done on poster board 22x28 with coloured pencils.
My friend suggested an eagle/bell combination and I thought how cool it would be if the eagle was swooping down holding the bell in his talons. After years of looking at various poses of bald eagles and finding the right light and view for the bell; i came to the pose seen here. "Old Glory" was the obvious, perfect back drop. I made a scan and two copies of the picture. one copy at my home, the other copy given to my friend (who made the suggestion) and the original I gave to my stepfather for his birthday.
