The original photograph by MaeFlowers on this 11”x8” Cutting Board is a closeup of a banana flower. The tropical photo has colours straight from nature. In the background there are yellow green, unripe bananas. In the foreground, the rich, dark reddish brown of the flower petals, called bracts, curve outward. Beneath every petal layer lies an orderly row of little yellow-tipped fronds. These are the buds that eventually become bananas. The petals are a lighter, dusty pink colour as the layers unfold towards the heart of the flower.

I bought this product as a birthday present to 'mum' from our two boys, which had their picture on it, with a message. Setting it up was easy and straightforward. It could have done with 4 rubber pads on the base, to protect the worktop and for ease of picking it up, but otherwise a great product. I would definitely consider buying another as a gift for someone else. Delivered (overseas) quickly too. The print turned out perfect. It was based on a photo from a studio photo shoot, so the original quality was good in the first place. The picture was positioned exactly as shown when making the order.
