Bat on the moon classic round sticker
It is listed only in the 'Heian Monkan' in the crest book. Further research revealed that this crest has not been inherited as a family crest. From this, it is considered highly likely that 'Moon with a bat' was selected from among the designs that the upper artisans had kept and transmitted since the Edo period, and was published in 'Heian Monkan' in 1936 as a popular design (from 'Exploring Family Crests' by Keiichi Morimoto)
