Bathers at La Grenouillère (1869) by Claude Monet is a vintage impressionist fine art painting featuring a popular boating and bathing establishment with a floating café, on the River Seine near Bougival to the west of Paris. In the summer of 1869 Monet lived near La Grenouillère with Camille, and their son. About the artist: Claude Monet (1840-1926) was a founder of the French impressionist painting movement with most of his paintings being "en plein air" (in the open air) style impressionism landscapes.
