This greeting card is from an original painting of Poipu Beach on the island of Kauai. It was the favorite childhood beach of the artist, David Mampel, who grew up there in the 1970s. The scene depicts the calm, happy beauty of that tropical paradise and gives one a feeling of joy that is the essential quality of the aloha spirit so prevalent on the islands.
