This design features an historical flag of Belarus, which was originally used by the Belarusian Democratic Republic in 1918, before Belarus became a Soviet Republic, and again after it regained its independence in 1991 until the 1995 referendum. Opposition groups in Belarus have continued to use this flag as a sign of their support for democracy and against the current leadership. The white-red-white flag has been used during recent protests against the government, and it is also commonly flown by members of the Belarusian diaspora. I love this mug, I designed it for myself (the only thing wrong is the pink color in the print: it's darker than the preview). The inside color is perfect and also the print has a high quality finissage. colors are a bit Darker, so my pink heart and logo aren't like the preview.
