Ben Carson for President Bumper Sticker

Dr. Benjamin S. Carson didn't say he was running for president Thursday night, but he didn't rule it out, either. When someone asked him whether he would run, he said, "That was not initially in my plan. I'm not making plans to do that right now ... but even if I were, it would be way too early now to announce such a thing." He said he would see what happens with the mid-term elections in November. "I'll also see whether traction is developing for people who actually want to do that job, because I'm not one of them." If other folks aren't gaining support, he said, he "would consider it."
