Between Riches and Love (by Bouguereau) Napkin

This design features a painting by the French artist William-Adolphe Bouguereau (1825–1905). It depicts a young woman being courted and romanced by two potential suitors. One of the gentlemen is an old man who is rich and is offering her expensive gifts. The wealthy man has a gold chain around his neck. The other gentleman is a young man who has his hand on his hand, to reflect his true love, and he is holding a guitar in his hand, in order to serendade his true love. The woman is wearing a pink dress and she has her hands clasped on her lap; she is looking down, away from the men, and she appears to be lost in thought, as she contemplates which suitor would be the better choice for her. Is it better to find romantic love or to live in great wealth and luxury? She is unsure of the answer to that question. The original artwork was painted by Bouguereau in 1869.
