Birch Trees in a Woodland Forest (Roerich) Tile
This design features a pastel painting by the Russian artist and philosopher Nicholas Roerich (1874–1947), who was also known as Nikolai Konstantinovich Rerikh. It shows a wood filled with beautiful birch trees, emphasising the elegant white and black patterns on the long slender trunks of trees. In the background is an array of green foliage. The original painting was completed in 1905 and it exemplifies the art nouveau style of the period.

Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
