Biscuit Basin, Yellowstone National Park Poster

Biscuit Basin, Yellowstone National Park Poster

"Biscuit Basin Riverside View, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming" by Catherine Sherman. Steam rises from geothermal vents in a rocky landscape of Biscuit Basin adjoining the Firehole River in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, with a backdrop of lush green forest under a bright blue sky with fluffy clouds. Water from the hot springs and geysers constantly pours into the Firehole River. Biscuit Basin is an isolated thermal group of interesting geysers and hot springs and is part of the Upper Geyser Basin. If you look carefully, you can see tourists on a boardwalk on the right side of the photograph, was taken September 9, 2022. A hydrothermal explosion happened around 10 a.m., July 23, 2024, in Biscuit Basin, a collection of hot springs a couple miles north of the famous Old Faithful Geyser in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. Biscuit Basin was closed for the rest of the summer. Similar blasts have happened in Biscuit Basin in 2009, 1991 and after the magnitude 7.2 Hebgen Lake earthquake 40 miles (64 kilometres) away in 1959.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame. This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again. One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up. Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font. Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.

Absolutely love my poster. I have it hung in my reiki treatment room. Had so many compliments about it. The pastel colours are truly amazing
