I wasn't the only one drawn to the Bishkek National Historical Museum. A group of British tourists were walking around the perimeter of Bishkek's famed State Museum, eagerly snapping photos of the unique Soviet style brutalist architecture. A Kyrgyz man working on the grounds told us that the Bishkek National Museum was popular with tourists visiting Kyrgyzstan. As it turns out, foreigners visiting Bishkek are fascinated by the large stock of Soviet influenced buildings.
