Black Mermaid Dreaming. In Australia, my country of origin, there is a dreaming concerning the mermaids. (Check on Utube, search under "Silver wave" "Black mermaid dreaming song"- and you will hear the voice of one of my teachers and relations singing of the mermaid dancing place.) This painting (an original I had gifted to a friend, was in memory of her black mermaid dreaming song).
