This deep vivid violet blue and black butterfly comes from a vintage Victorian era collection of moths and butterflies of North America. The colour of the name on the mug coordinates with the purple-blue of the butterfly wings. I love the bright colour of the butterfly and how it has kept its colours for over 150 years. It can still brighten our mornings!
