About This Design
Blue Jay, John James Audubon Magnet
from Birds of America
John James Audubon (April 26, 1785 – January 2, 1851) was a French-American ornithologist, naturalist, hunter, and painter. He painted, catalogued, and described the birds of North America in a form far superior to what had gone before.
His Birds of America is the most valuable book in the world. There are only about 120 copies of the original, and a copy in good condition is worth 8 million dollars.
The bluejays in this picture are stealing eggs. This print is from a chromolithography edition produced in 1859 by Audubon's son. The project was never completed; the Civil War broke out and Audubon's son died.

I was expecting better. Image looks faded and the houses on the image are near folded underneath. Likely throw this in the bin.

Excellent all round, the printing is great and the magnet is streamlined, not chunky. The actual magnet is very strong. Very good quality and the price is low. Absolutely fantastic! Crisp, bright, clean.
