This gorgeous vintage blue and white wildflower design by Owen Jones (1809–1874), features French Country, Chinoiserie, Chinese ornamental, toile, botanical, farmhouse, cottagecore, Victorian, and antique blue floral elements.
The elegant blue and white flower pattern adds a touch of vintage floral beauty to your coffee/tea/hot chocolate mug, and comes from the original 1867 Examples of Chinese Ornament from the South Kensington Museum collections. Jones—one of the most influential design theorists of the 19th century—blended global influences, color theory, and classic ornamentation in works such as his 1856 masterpiece The Grammar of Ornament.
