Blue Willow Lucky Cat Island Whimsical Oriental Apron

A twist on traditional Blue Willow pottery designs! In crisp blue and white, I've paired a whimsical oriental island with a pond scene that includes two Chinese Lucky Cats viewing koi fish and waterlilies. Birds and a pair of phoenixes fly amid the foliage, trees and stylised landscape shrubbery. Sea ducks and a spouting whale swim in the sea. A patterned band at the top edge and bottom hem is in classic Blue Willow style. The animals are all intricately patterned with floral motifs inspired by old chinoiserie pottery designs. This fun kitchen accessory will appeal to any cat or animal lover or anyone who loves Blue Willow or other beautiful dishware; and of course it will accent blue and white decor.
