Washington was of the last generation of black American leaders born into slavery and became the leading voice of the former slaves and their descendants, who were newly oppressed by disfranchisement and the Jim Crow discriminatory laws enacted in the post-Reconstruction Southern states in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Washington was infamous for his advocacy of educational and economic advancement among the African American community during his time. Recreated on these gifts are Booker T. I really liked this product, the picture is lovely and the colours are really nice. I wanted it to up-cycle a writing bureau and I was concerned that the paper may be too thin. But it wasn't and it worked fine. On the pictures I have uploaded the print looks a bit aged and not so vivid and new looking. As I wanted an aged patina but the actual print is clearer and the colours are brighter. The colour and prints are good.
