The background is navy blue. The flap pattern is the vintage wallpaper pattern "Marigold" designed by William Morris (1834–1896 ), ca.1875,, now in the public domain. It is dominated by leaves on a but has also some marigold flowers; both the flowers and leaves are drawn with blue on a white background. The text is written in light blue circle, with blue letters, except the word Baptism, which is golden, like the gold cross above it. The name of the child is written in a calligraphic script, the rest in caps.
