Imam Brasilia, Reys-Boeck (1624). A detail on the Brasilia map, published in "Reys-Boeck van het rijcke Brasilien, rio de la Plata ende Magallanes" by editor Jan Canin approximately 1624. The Dutch, at a time of the seventeenth century, held the best press in Europe. Their contribution to cartography is considerable and they have stood out in the production of historical atlas, building up a collection of outstanding visual knowledge. In detail, the cartridge includes sugar cones and native American man holding rowing and wearing coke and leaving the pen.
