I took this photograph whilst walking along a river bank in Kent. It was a glorious May Day and the banks were lined with colourful pink and blue Wild Comfrey, alive with Bees gathering pollen. The air was filled with their busy humming as they flew from flower to flower, combined with the occasional trill of a Wren hidden in the thickets, and the constant murmur of the river, on its way to the sea.
