Built-in 1895, this charming wooden bridge spans Lyle Creek and is renowned for its architectural significance and rustic beauty. It stands as a cherished symbol of the state's rich heritage and craftsmanship. There are only 2 covered bridges left in North Carolina. This is one of them. It’s part of a small park and closed to everything but foot traffic.
