BUTTERFLY FIELDS Chow papercut

A little Art Deco....a little contemporary..and certainly remniscent of centuries old Chinese papercut art. Each paper element was cut and assembled in my Portland Oregon studio and signed with my GRAFFITI chop stamp which I originally had made for me in Hong Kong. My paper choices for this design were simple but elegant using basic black and white for huge impact. The little chow stands out about 1/8" from the background and throws a small shadow on the landscape behind her

Looked great and was perfect for my Nana's 99th it arrived super quick so much quicker than sending the original from the other side of the world!
