This happy little Butterfly is the first one carved and wood burned by Katrina. The Background is from a picture taken at the edge of the Maryland Renaissance Festival…the bush was covered with Butterflies…how could the two not go together! The back of the card has the meaning of the knot, Butterfly metamorphosis her whole life. She embraces the changes, understanding that fretting and anger are useless against the tides of nature.
