Swallowtail Butterfly Travel Mug
This design was created with reference to the "Ageha Butterfly Crest Division Diagram and Training Text" found in "Kyoto Crest Uwa-e-shi" in "The Great Japanese Crest Encyclopedia" (March 28, 2013). "Fusadate" refers to a state where the wings are held horizontally, whereas "Ageha" or "lifting the wings" refers to a state where the wings are raised and stationary. The "Ageha Butterfly" that appears in family crests is generally not the same as the swallowtail butterfly commonly known. It was surprising to learn that the "Ageha Butterfly" in patterns and the swallowtail butterfly in biology are different. It was also surprising to discover that the name of the pattern is distinguished by whether the wings are raised or lowered. (From "Exploring Family Crests" by Keiichi Morimoto)

The final product far exceeded my expectations when it arrived. It feels solid, looks impressive, and I love the style. It has a very solid lid which is still easy to remove and re fit. Looks great in the Stainless Steel and it was delivered on time and very well packaged. I have only one little niggle, and that is the logo background colour of black doesn't quite match the black that they company uses so you can see the slight difference is tones. It would have been great if these matched and to be honest, I am not sure if that is something I would have to do my end before uploading or if this could be sorted at the printing stage.
