C. 1870 Photo studio signature of American photographer Napoleon Sarony's firm ' Sarony and Company ' in New York City. One of the greatest portrait photographers in American photographic history. Sarony captured the images of Mark Twain, Oscar Wilde, a wide range of prominent Americans and is said to have taken 30,000 theatrical portraits. The studio signature would be found on the back of his cabinet card and Carte de Visite photographs. I have a number of colours available.
