This copy of a "SANZEi" original Colour Pointillism Gouache painting is now available on a beautiful canvas display. Callous the Crying Clown was painted by Santos “Sanzei” Lopez as an art project in 1998. This colour pointillism / gouache piece features a crying dead clown that is paying for his cruel disregard for society. The metal jaw is symbolic of the cold, rigid disconnect that social media/internet represents, the tear over the skull's face represents regret after the fact. The blue and red coloured hair represents the influence of two narcissistic political groups, and the skull-plated, cracked skull represents the constant cover-up and patchwork caused by the years of living within a fractured system.
