"Virgin with Corona" is by Odilon Redon, 1898. This artwork depicts the story of the Virgin extending a golden chord of compassion from her heart.
Odilon Redon was a French Symbolist artist known for his paintings and drawings of flowers, mythology, and spirituality. Although he was a contemporary of Monet and Renoir, Impressionism was not for him. Redon preferred an art of subjectivity and imagination. He was regarded by many of the Surrealists as their precursor.
The image "Virgin with Corona" has been professionally restored by us. It has been retouched where faded and colours have been enhanced. ~ This image is available as a poster or a canvas print. Framing is also available.

I saw this card on your website and it bowled me over as I never thought such a beautiful card could exist. It’s unusual and very large. The quality of the card and envelope are amazing.
