The mousepad is high quality. It's thick, has the right amount of stiffness (not flimsy, or stiff to the point of being brittle). I was attracted to the novelty of having this favored work of art on a mouse pad (I love Pannini). However, my one disappointment is that it came out darker than it was pictured; black shadows obscure the detail which is characteristic of Pannini's art, and the beauty of this work of art. So, I ordered two mouse mats, but actually we'll be using them in our living room, to protect our coffee table from hot bowls of porridge and other food!
