Carl Sandburg Quote Who Am I Photographic Postcard

This photographic postcard of features a quote Carl Sandburg, "Poet of the People" and Pulitzer Prize winning author. "It is necessary now and then for a man to go away by himself and experience loneliness; to sit on a rock in the forest and to ask himself, 'Who am I, and where have I been, and where am I going?'" This old wooden chair on an outcropping of granite rock behind his former home in Flat Rock, North Carolina, Henderson County, was he favourite place to write outdoors.
