A digital rendering of a wood carving, or engraving, of the polka dot zebra which serves as the logo of world famous, but entirely imaginary, Polka Dot zebra pub in England. Zebras are not always born with black and white stripes, There are a number of mutations which can can cause variations on colour and form. In 2020 a young, "polka dot" Plains Zebra (Equus quagga), nicknamed Tira, was discovered in Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve. Tira's unusual appearance is the result of a rare mutation called pseudomelanism. Tira was the inspiration for our Polka Dot Zebra, an artist's conception of an adult animal with this colour variation.

I really liked this product, the picture is lovely and the colours are really nice. I wanted it to up-cycle a writing bureau and I was concerned that the paper may be too thin. But it wasn't and it worked fine. On the pictures I have uploaded the print looks a bit aged and not so vivid and new looking. As I wanted an aged patina but the actual print is clearer and the colours are brighter. The colour and prints are good.

I originally was after the bee paper and then realised I could upload a photo. I used the paper to decorate a box, the paper is good and strong to work with. The left over paper I wrapped presents and put them in the box. She loved the box so well worth doing! I was really happy with the print!
