Celtic Wu Fu Card

Celtic styling, meets Chinese symbolism. 'Saol fada chugat' in calligraphy, meaning long life to you, and in the dead centre is the chinese symbol found in the original wufu illustrations. The Wu Fu, or five bats of happiness stand for the 5 blessings; Long life, Wealth, Health, Virtue and natural death. The bats are often painted red, the colour of joy, but in this case I did the knotwork red.
